Matt Meyer talking to CoastTV while in Rehoboth Beach

When asked whether he would call for her resignation at the end of the session, Meyer said, "I hope she's inĀ good health, the people of that district made a choice."

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Delaware Gov. Matt Meyer exclusively spoke with CoastTV on Friday about the extended absence of District 20 Representative Stell Parker Selby, saying he has not spoken to her.

" I have not heard much on Representative... Stell," Meyer said to CoastTV. "I hope she’s in good health. I have not spoken to her."

Sources confirmed to CoastTV that Rep. Parker-Selby suffered a stroke over the winter. She has currently missed 38 days of the current legislative session.

When asked whether he would call for her resignation at the end of the session, Meyer said, "I hope she's in good health, the people of that district made a choice."

The Governor did not offer any further comment on Selby and did not indicate whether any formal steps would be taken regarding her status.
