Governor signs impact fee bill, Sussex County Council has final say

After years of calling for help with overcrowding, the Cape Henlopen School District — along with every other school district in Sussex County — is one step closer to getting a financial boost from new development.

Cape Henlopen and other Sussex County school districts may soon receive funding relief as a new law allows a 1.25% developer fee. The county must still pass an ordinance for it to take effect.
