Delmarva Power said the flights are to manage vegetation near power lines.

FENWICK ISLAND, Del.- People living in eastern and central Sussex County, as well as the greater Ocean City area, could see  increased helicopter activity on Tuesday as Delmarva Power inspects vegetation.

According to the Fenwick Island government, the inspections are being carried out by a blue-and-silver helicopter with tail number N36MK.

Delmarva Power said the flights are to manage vegetation near power lines to help support reliable electric service throughout the region.

The helicopter inspections are scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.
