REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The Humane Animal Partners of Delaware are searching for fosters as the organization takes in dogs and puppies from the devastating floods in Texas.

According to a post made on the organization's Instagram, it's moving animals from their Stanton location to their Rehoboth Beach location to make room for 20 dogs that were in shelters devastated by the recent floods in Texas. HAP says that by bringing animals up for adoption here, displaced pets will be able to be cared for and reunited with family in the midst of disaster.

The dogs are expected to arrive in Delaware on July 11 at the Wilmington airport and taken to the Stanton HAP shelter. The transport will be handled by the Bissell Pet Foundation.

HAP says people who are interested in fostering shelter pets should submit an application online. HAP is also looking for monetary donations to meet the needs of caring for these pets.
