Lewes-Rehoboth Canal dredging underway
A multi-million dollar dredging project is underway along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, with about 89,000 cubic yards of sediment expected to be removed. Work stretches from the Route 9 Freeman Highway Bridge south to Rehoboth Bay and is expected to continue through March 2027
