MILLSBORO, Del. - On Sunday, July 7, the Indian River Fire Company was alerted of a medical emergency at Baywood that required the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit to transport patients to medical facilities.
Indian River emergency response units included Rescue 80 from Oak Orchard facilities, Tanker 80-4 from Long Neck and the Delaware State Fire Police.
The emergency response crew included traffic control during the landing and helped transfer the patient to the helicopter.
