FELTON, Del. - A Milford man has been charged after Felton Police said he trespassed onto private property and took photos of a home and cars in the driveway.
According to Chief of Police Christopher A. Guild, officers were dispatched around 9:12 p.m. June 20 to the 100 block of East High Street for a reported trespassing. Video surveillance showed a man on a bicycle standing on the porch of a home and taking photos.

Police identified the man as 53-year-old Allen E. Cane Jr. of Milford. Chief Guild said investigators gathered enough probable cause to obtain arrest warrants. On July 3, officers saw Cane riding a bicycle on East Main Street. He was taken into custody without any issues.
Cane was transported to the Felton Police Department, where he was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree. Cane was video arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court, issued a no contact order with the victim’s residence, and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
