MILFORD, Del. - The Milford Police Department announced Aug. 6 that they added two "exchange zones" at the police station's front parking lot.

These new parking spaces are designed to be safe zones for parents who have shared custody of a child or are exchanging an internet purchase.

These spots, as well as the rest of the front parking lot, are under constant video surveillance. The Milford Police said their goal is to assist the community with safe places to conduct these exchanges.
