OC BikeFest rebrands as ‘OC Rock and Ride’ under new management

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Jeremy Brink, owner of Ocean 13 in Ocean City, has long made OC BikeFest a family tradition. “All the bikes are amazing to look at,” Brink said. “If you have kids — like even my son — we used to come into town for BikeFest when he was little.”

BikeFest is no more. But the tradition continues with Kickin’ Events LLC. They are presenting OC Rock and Ride.

Possible changes for this year’s event include expanded vendor offerings, holding the popular boardwalk ride-along twice instead of once, and a stacked music lineup featuring big-name acts alongside talented local bands.

Brink, who also performs in a local band, is excited. “There are amazing musicians in Ocean City and the surrounding area,” he said. “Any local will tell you that if you go out on a Saturday afternoon, there’s just as much talent here as anywhere in the world.”

OC Rock and Ride is set to run from September 10 through September 14, giving visitors plenty of time to plan their trip and catch all the sights — and sounds — of motorcycles roaring into town.
