OC Parking

Police say enhanced parking penalties will be enforced, focusing on illegal parking like blocking fire hydrants or sidewalks.

OCEAN CITY, Md. - The Ocean City Air Show is set to soar over the beach June 14–15, and local officials are advising people who live there and visitors to prepare for heavy traffic, limited parking and several street closures throughout the weekend.

Set-up begins Friday, June 13, between 12th and 20th streets. Portions of those streets will be closed, and some, like 15th and 17th streets, will remain closed until noon on Monday, June 16. The City Hall parking lot at 301 Baltimore Avenue will also be off-limits to the public starting Friday at 5 p.m.

Parking and Transit Tips

Parking will be tight, especially Saturday, and many private lots may raise prices. Municipal lots are available at key locations like Worcester Street and Baltimore Avenue, Dorchester Street and 61st Street on Coastal Highway.

Safety First

Officials urge everyone to follow safety rules, use crosswalks, obey traffic signals, and stay alert. Drivers are reminded to stop for pedestrians and avoid distractions. Bike and scooter riders should wear helmets, follow traffic laws, and stay visible.

To avoid the worst congestion, the town says to plan to arrive before 9 a.m. More parking and transportation details are available at oceancitymd.gov and OC transportation.
