LEWES, Del. - Cape Henlopen High School was the venue for the inaugural Latino Business & Community Expo on Saturday, marking a significant milestone for the local business community.
The event, a collaborative initiative between the Delaware Alliance of Latino Entrepreneurs (¡DALE¡) and La Plaza Delaware, brought together over 120 businesses from different industries to showcase their services to the Sussex County community.
Isana Ventura, a business owner and mentor with La Plaza Delaware, shared her excitement about the expo's impact.
"It's so amazing. I love it. I've lived in Sussex County for all of my life, and I think this is the first time I've seen something like this happen," she said. "I can't wait for next year because it's going to be better."
¡DALE¡ is a spin-off from La Plaza Delaware, a nonprofit partnership created to increase opportunities, business savvy, and prosperity for Latino and minority-owned businesses.
