Kenny G. wins $100,000 after two Pick 5 tickets matched the winning combinations.

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man, Kenny G., won $100,000 after two Pick 5 tickets he purchased with the same number matched the winning combination in the Maryland Lottery’s July 24 evening drawing, according to Maryland Lottery and Gaming.

Kenny G. purchased two separate Pick 5 straight tickets with the number 32821 at Salisbury Quick Stop.

The agency says he checked the winning numbers on the Maryland Lottery app and saw that 32821 had been drawn straight. Each ticket was worth $50,000, giving him a total prize of $100,000.

Kenny G. is no stranger to playing the Lottery. Over the years, he has won prizes by playing the same numbers on multiple tickets for Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings.

After discovering his latest win, he immediately called family and friends to share the news. Kenny G. has been married for nearly 40 years and has four children and three grandchildren. He said he plans to use his winnings to take care of his family and home.

He works as a legal processor and enjoys playing poker in his free time.

The agency says Salisbury Quick Stop will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the two top-prize-winning Pick 5 tickets.

Since its inception in 1973, the Maryland Lottery has awarded more than $37 billion in prizes and contributed more than $21.4 billion to the state of Maryland. The Lottery supports state programs and services, including education and public health initiatives, according to Maryland Lottery and Gaming.
