According to a report from the Maryland State Police, on Sunday at about 2:30 a.m., Salisbury Police Department. The incident happened in the 700 block of East Naylor Mill Road. 

EASTON, Md. – In a yearlong joint effort, the Talbot County Drug Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations arrested eight individuals connected to a drug-trafficking ring on the Eastern Shore. The operation involved more than two dozen law-enforcement agencies and targeted illegal drug sales across Talbot, Dorchester, Caroline, and Queen Anne's counties.

Sherman Nathaniel Greene Jr., 42, of Cambridge, identified as the alleged kingpin, faces charges for importing large quantities of illegal drugs. Multiple search warrants across counties yielded over 1,300 grams of suspected cocaine, heroin/fentanyl, a substantial amount cash, a few weapons, and several vehicles allegedly used for drug transport.

Talbot County Sheriff Joe Gamble praised the collaborative efforts of law enforcement, emphasizing their selfless service in dismantling the drug-trafficking organization.

All suspects, except for Greene, are released on bail, while he remains in custody at the Dorchester County Detention Center without bond.
