GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Office of Congresswoman McBride hosted a 'Ready, Set, Retire' informational session preparing those 55 and up for retirement on Aug. 20. at 3 p.m.

The event took place in the Georgetown CHEER Community Center and featured special guests including The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, AARP of Delaware, CLASI Elder Law Services, Delaware Medicare Assistance Bureau, Division of Medicaid & Medical Assistance, and Life Happens. 

"It's super important to make sure that when you think about seniors and you think about their ability to do what's just natural in life which is retire comfortably, retire with dignity and also have some information and education without feeling like they're pressured to make decisions," said Christopher Grandy from Georgetown.
