MILFORD, Del. — A truck took down utility poles and wires near the Route 1 and Route 113 interchange Wednesday morning, forcing several road closures in Milford.
Route 1 is closed in both directions. Southbound Route 1 is shut down at Thompsonville Road, while northbound Route 1 is closed near Northeast 10th Street.
Route 113 north is also closed at Northwest 10th Street.
Drivers should avoid the area and expect delays while the utility poles and wires are cleared and the roads remain closed.
