The truck fire happened on Route 9 near Minos Conaway Road.
LEWES, Del.- Route 9 in Lewes was shut down in both directions for over an hour near Minos Conaway road due to a box truck fire.
Firefighters were dispatched around 5:15 p.m. Heavy black smoke could be seen at a distance. The truck belonged to Delmarva Spray Foam. According to the Lewes Fire Department, the truck was full of the spray foam material used for insulation.
No one was hurt.
