SELBYVILLE, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a single car crash that occurred in Selbyville that left one woman dead.
DSP says that on March 26 at around 8:51 p.m., a Hyundai Sonata was driving west down Cypress Road and was approaching a curve near Daisy Road. Police say that the driver lost control of the car at the curve, crashing into a tree, then heading further west before crashing into a second tree.
According to DSP, 27-year-old Dalyn Budler of Bishopville was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries and later died. Police closed Cypress Road temporarily until the scene was investigated and cleaned of debris.
The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this crash. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to please contact Senior Corporal J.
