Motorcycle Accident

He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died on May 12. Police have not yet released his name, pending notification of family.

MILLVILLE, Del. - 35-year-old Corey Henry from Ocean View has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash that occurred earlier this month in Millville, according to Delaware State Police.

The crash happened around 11:08 p.m. on May 3, when the Henry was riding a Suzuki GSX-R600 south on Central Avenue, just south of Substation Road. As he attempted to navigate a curve, the motorcycle left the west edge of the road and struck a mailbox. The impact caused the man to be ejected from the bike, said DSP.

Henry was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died on May 12.

The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Master Corporal R. Albert at 302-703-3266.
