LEWES, Del.- One person was shot in Whispering Pines Mobile Homes Park in Lewes, according to Delaware State Police.

Troopers say they were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

Police say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Troopers say there's no concern for public safety at this time.

DSP says this is an ongoing investigation.
