...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways.

* WHERE...Kent and Inland Sussex.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 9 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most
vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along
inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are
possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is
expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some road
closures. Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood.

Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The
water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting
yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to
costly repairs.

flood impact information for your local tide gauge.

Wawa Creates a New Drink Supporting the Special Olympics

Gold Medal Hot Chocolate

DELAWARE- Get it while it's hot! Right now Wawa is serving up a delicious new drink that supports the Special Olympics. The Gold Medal Hot Chocolate is complete with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and Creme Brulee bits on top.

From hot chocolate to the cold ocean, Polar Bear Plunge organizers are expecting over 2-thousand people to take the plunge in Rehoboth Beach. That includes over 150 Wawa employees.

"Wawa is going to be donating 50-thousand dollars to the special Olympics for the athletes traveling to the USA Games," said Debra Johnson with Wawa.

When you buy the hot chocolate, take a picture and post it on social media with the hashtag, ToastTheTeam.

Athletes are already busy practicing for the USA Games this summer in Florida. The Gold Medal Hot Chocolate helps fund that.

"Once in a lifetime experience for them. A lot of people don't realize that, but our athletes go for free, and they deserve that because they deserve the opportunity to demonstrate their skills on what will be the biggest stage of their lives for most of them," said John Buzby with Special Olympics Delaware.

The Polar Bear Plunge kicks off Sunday, February 6. You can go to Wawa after jumping in the ocean and warm up with a Gold Medal Hot Chocolate. The drink is available now until February 28.
