The Milton Town Council is set to vote on a proposal Monday night that could ban street parking along a quarter-mile stretch of Atlantic Street.

The Ocean View Police Department arrested a 17-year-old man from Waldorf, after a high-speed chase on Aug. 3, discovering a loaded handgun and marijuana in the car. The suspect faces multiple felony charges, including possession of a firearm during a felony and disregarding a police officer's signal.

Larger fines may be coming for Ocean City boardwalk businesses that don't abide by display permit rules. The Ocean City council is set to discuss proposed alterations to the violation steps outlined in the outdoor display ordinance on Tuesday.

The Majestic Hotel in Ocean City wants to expand their hotel into two new buildings. But they first have to get the air rights from the town.
