Delmarva will enjoy a stretch of pleasant weather beginning Thursday night, with partly cloudy skies and comfortable lows ranging from the low to mid 60s inland to the upper 60s along the coast. Friday brings a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, but a high risk of rip currents remains in effect along the Delaware and Maryland beaches, including Ocean City and Assateague Island. The dangerous surf conditions will continue through the weekend due to persistent onshore flow and a storm system well out to sea.
Sussex County will enjoy fair skies, low humidity, and gradually warming temperatures from early Tuesday through early Thursday as high pressure remains in control.
A stretch of fair, cooler-than-average weather is expected in Sussex County from late Monday through late Wednesday, ahead of heat and humidity returning later this week.
The cloudy and much cooler conditions continue the rest of Friday, along with a few showers. Warmer and more humid air builds into Delmarva this weekend with a daily chance of showers and storms.
