The Worcester County Arts Council (WCAC), along with the Worcester County Library Foundation, is organizing the Paint Worcester County Plein Air, an artistic tradition that invites the community to experience art in the making, from Sunday, Sept. 14, to Friday, Sept. 19.

Drivers in the Milford area should plan for detours starting Sept. 16 as the Delaware Department of Transportation begins bridge maintenance on Griffith Lake Drive.

Starting Wednesday, the famous Dolles sign atop the Rehoboth Beach Museum is being rejuvenated. According to David Mann, President of the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society, Rogers Sign began chipping away at the old orange paint.

The mural, which is painted on a bridge crossing over Route 1 near the Dover Air Force Base, depicts stars and stripes in red, white and blue to honor those who have served.
