A car crashed into the Surf Bagel near the Five Points intersection at about 12:25 p.m. according to the Lewes Fire Department Inc. An 81-year-old woman, from Lewes, was driving at the time.
Surf Bagel announced plans to open its first New Castle County location in Middletown. The new shop will be located in the Dove Run Center on East Main Street, across from Middletown High School, according to a press release.
