As the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for all of Sussex County, the county readies for the severity. The first winter storm of 2026 is predicted to begin on Jan 24. at 7 p.m. and to last untill Monday, Jan 26. at 1 p.m.
Sussex County Emergency Management says September is National Preparedness Month and there is no better time than the present to prepare.
