Ahead of a celebration of life for former Lewes Mayor Ted Becker, Delaware Governor John Carney has ordered the state flag to be lowered to half-staff on Saturday, October 26, from sunrise to sunset.
A service and ceremony of life honoring former Lewes Mayor Ted Becker will be held at 11 a.m., Oct. 26. The event will be held at the Lewes Canalfront Park on Front Street.
A man who served nearly 20 years in Lewes government, Ted Becker, died Sunday afternoon at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.
