The Maryland Transportation Authority says to expect heavy traffic: more than 345,000 cars are projected to cross the Bay Bridge over the holiday weekend. The agency says all drivers should remain on US 50 to avoid blocking local roads. 

Drivers in Delaware will soon pay more at toll plazas and the Division of Motor Vehicles as the Delaware Department of Transportation prepares to roll out increases aimed at boosting infrastructure funding.

Cash tolls at the Delaware Memorial Bridge will increase on April 1, as part of a two-phase toll adjustment plan. Passenger vehicles paying cash will see a $1 increase, while commercial vehicles will pay an additional $1 per axle.
