Many Verizon customers encountered a widespread outage on Wednesday, disrupting calling and other cellular services across the U.S.

A new cell tower disguised to look like a tree is coming to Ocean Pines after the Board of Directors voted to approve a site lease agreement with Milestone Towers during its October board meeting.

Verizon officials say they're hoping to put an end to the complaints regarding the previously poor cell service in the area. 

A new Verizon cell tower is standing tall in Milton, and while it promises better service, not everyone is happy with where it ended up.

Governor John Carney and the Delaware Department of Technology and Information's Broadband Office have announced $17.4 million in proposed grants to expand high-speed internet access to more than 5,600 unserved and underserved homes and businesses statewide.

CoastTV Meteorologists are reporting record-challenging temperatures this week and weekend with a heat wave. Phone company, Verizon, says devices, especially cell phones, can become overheated from conditions like this. 

Back in September 2020, five 5G poles were installed on by several Dewey Beach Dunes, and for four years the town says it has been trying to move the poles. The town says the state gave Verizon Permission to put poles by the dunes. 

Milton town council is set to discuss a proposed 145-foot tower at a February 20th meeting.
