Dangerous heat is likely late this week, especially Thursday and Friday, before a cold front brings some relief into the weekend.
From late Tuesday evening through late Thursday, a low pressure system and Hurricane Erin offshore will bring rain, gusty winds, coastal flooding, and dangerous surf to Sussex County and nearby beach communities.
