The crash occurred in the area of Route 50 and Caleb Road.
BERLIN, Md. - One woman died and westbound Route 50 was closed late Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle crash.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Maryland State Police say a minivan driven by 74-year-old Ocean City woman Linda Hopkins drifted off the road near Caleb Road and hit a tree. Hopkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are unsure what caused the crash and are still investigating.
