BETHANY BEACH, Del. - Pro Women's Tennis returns to Bethany Beach in the $30,000 Troon Pro Women's Open from May 12 through 18 at the Sea Colony Racquet Sports Center.

High level competition returns to the venue as a combination of world class athletes and local wildcards will compete in singles and doubles matches, with players looking to earn WTA ranking points on the Sea Colony's clay courts.

Many current tennis stars have competed at the event, including Jessica Pegula, Danielle Collins, and 2022 Wimbledon girls' singles champion Liv Horde.

Sea Colony says this free weeklong competition will also feature a Kids Day on May 14, where young aspiring fans can interact with pros in various activities.

Likewise, Sea Colony adds they are looking for volunteers to assist in various aspects of the tournament, including ball kids to retrieve balls and assist players during the tournament finals on May 17 and 18. Volunteers can earn community service hours as well as a receive a tournament t-shirt.
