A landmark reclaimed: Salisbury regains historic City Hall
In Wicomico County, a piece of Salisbury’s history is back where it belongs. After more than 20 years, the City of Salisbury has regained ownership of the Historic City Hall building. Built in 1896, the landmark has served as City Hall, a fire station, an art museum, and more—while still preserving many of its original character-defining features. A new chapter begins for one of Salisbury’s most treasured historic spaces.
