Smyrna, Del. - The Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill is calling on the community to support its residents this holiday season.
The licensed skilled nursing facility is operated by the Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities and dedicated to comprehensive nursing home services for Delawareans who have no other options for care and little family support.
Through the Adopt-a-Resident program, community members can shop from a resident's specific wishlist, make a monetary donation, or donate items from a suggested list that is used to fill gift bags for residents who didn't get sponsored.
