BETHANY BEACH, Del. - The police chief in Bethany Beach has been placed on administrative leave following a DUI charge, WRDE confirmed with the town manager on Monday.
Delaware State Police said Michael Redmon was arrested on May 30 on Lighthouse Road in Selbyville. There was no accident preceding his arrest. He was issued a ticket for DUI and released to someone sober.
The town said it will officially review the situation and determine future actions regarding Redmon once the case is resolved.
