FRANKFORD, Del. — The Delaware Department of Transportation says a portion of Camp Barnes Road will close later this month for storm drain installation and roadway reconstruction.
The closure will affect Camp Barnes Road between Millers Neck Road and Bayard Road from April 13 through April 27, weather permitting.
DelDOT says drivers should follow posted detours during the construction period.
Drivers traveling on Double Bridges Road who want to head east on Camp Barnes Road will continue straight onto Bayard Road, turn left onto Old Mill Bridge Road, then turn left onto Millers Neck Road to reconnect with Camp Barnes Road.
Drivers on Camp Barnes Road heading west of Millers Neck Road will turn left onto Millers Neck Road, then right onto Old Mill Bridge Road, and right again onto Bayard Road to return to Camp Barnes Road.
