GEORGETOWN, Del. - A Georgetown woman was arrested early Tuesday for her seventh DUI according to Delaware State Police.
Ginger Velasquez, 44, was taken into custody around 3 a.m. on April 15 after a trooper stopped her car on Wilson Hill Road for an improperly displayed license plate.
The trooper claims they could smell alcohol during the stop and administered field sobriety tests. Velasquez was then arrested.
According to troopers a records check revealed that Velasquez had six previous DUI-related convictions. She was taken to Troop 4, where she was charged with 7th offense DUI, a felony, and display of license plate.
Velasquez was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on a $7,001 unsecured bond.
