DELAWARE — DNREC is asking Delawareans and visitors to weigh in on the future of the state’s parks as the Division of Parks and Recreation develops its 2027-2031 strategic plan.
The division is seeking public feedback through an online survey that asks participants to share their thoughts on park priorities, investments, facilities, programs and improvements.
The survey is open to anyone who visits, volunteers in, works for or cares about Delaware’s state parks and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.
Delaware has 17 state parks covering more than 20,000 acres, including coastal beaches, historic sites, campgrounds and other recreational areas.
The division says public input will help guide decisions about recreation opportunities, conservation and the protection of the state’s natural and cultural resources over the next five years.
The survey is open through Sunday, Aug. 16.
