MILFORD, Del. - Delaware Wild Lands' Milford Neck Preserve is celebrating a expansion following a new land donation.

Delaware Wild Lands' has received a 37.6-acre land donation from The Nature Conservancy in Delaware. It said this donation will expand conservation efforts at the Milford Neck Preserve.

Delaware Wild Lands said adding the property to the preserve will create a more connected conservation landscape and allow the land to be managed as part of a single ecosystem, rather than as separate parcels. The organization also said the additional acreage will support wetland restoration, invasive species control and wildlife habitat preservation. The property will also help Delaware Wild Lands carry out its Milford Neck Master Plan.
