SEAFORD, Del. - DelDOT has announced that they will be temporarily closing the Woodland Ferry House, from Tuesday, September 6th through Monday, September 12th.
They say this is part of normal yearly maintenance. DelDOT says that the ferry will reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13th.
DelDOT announced in August that they will be replacing the Ferry's Captain House in 2023, which will help support their staff.
