SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.- The Delaware Department of Transportation installed a temporary left-turn traffic signal at the intersection of Route 1 at Eagle Crest Road to manage traffic flow.Â
DelDOT spokesperson, C.R. McLeod, said the set up is part of a new system for maintaining a smooth traffic during large-scale events.
The light will not remain active at all times. The next time it is active will be for the the Nanticoke Indian Powwow set for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10.
