SELBYVILLE, Del. - The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced the temporary closure of Sound Church Road for roadway reconstruction and the addition of shoulders. The closure will affect the stretch between Lighthouse Road and Lakeview Drive, beginning May 5 through May 27, weather permitting.
During the closure, drivers needing access to the rear entrance of Bayside should take Route 54 to American Parkway, then continue on Signature Boulevard to Lakeview Drive.
To exit the area, motorists should reverse the route—taking Lakeview Drive to Signature Boulevard, then to American Parkway, and back to Route 54.
