The Humane Society of Wicomico County says it is back open after taking in 43 dogs rescued from a Sharptown property described by the sheriff as a puppy mill. Staff say the shelter was already at capacity before the rescue, requiring 30 other dogs to be placed in emergency foster homes to make room.
