SELBYVILLE, Del. - The Indian River School District has announced a calendar change that will turn Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, into a regular school day for both students and staff.

The date was originally scheduled as a day off for students and a professional learning day for staff, but will now be used to make up for the Oct. 13 weather-related school closure, according to the district.

The change was approved by the Board of Education during its regular meeting on Nov. 24.
