A British prosecutor has accused Russell Brand of being a “ruthless” sexual predator who assaulted six women over the course of a decade. The 51-year-old Brand has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including rape and sexual assault. The alleged offenses occurred between 1999 and 2009. Prosecutor Riel Karmy-Jones told jurors on Wednesday that the women were assaulted in various locations including a hotel room and Brand's home. Brand is known for his risque stand-up routines and battles with drugs and alcohol. He has shifted away from mainstream media and has built a large online following.
