SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury Mayor Jake Day has announced that he will be resigning on January 27th, with Jack Heath sworn in as the new Mayor the same day.
The City of Salisbury says that Heath will be sworn in at 5 p.m. on the 27th at the Salisbury Fire Department, Station 16.
Day was recently appointed by Governor-Elect Wes Moore to be Maryland's Secretary of Housing and Community Development.
