BRIDGEVILLE, Del. - A man has been arrested in connection with a murder that happened in Bridgeville on Nov. 25. Delaware State Police says they found 26-year-old Daquan Lake in the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive, suffering from gunshot wounds. Lake passed away in the hospital.

The agency says it identified Ian'Tae Albury as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Detectives went to the same spot where the shooting happened and served a search warrant before taking Albury into custody.

Albury was charged with the following crimes:

  • Murder First Degree (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited (Felony) – 3 counts
  • Possession of Firearm Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (Felony) – 2 counts
  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon (Felony)

Delaware State Police says Albury was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on 1,160,000 dollar cash bond.

The Homicide Unit says it is still actively investigating. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Detective D.
