Millsboro, DE - Delaware State Police arrested 63-year-old Beatrice Therres of Berlin, Maryland, on Wednesday, following an investigation into a felony theft that happened in Millsboro in September.
According to troopers, on September 17th Therres stole a purse from a 68-year-old Millsboro woman. The ensuing investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant. On December 23rd troopers learned that Therres was in custody in Maryland. Therres was then extradited to Delaware on January 3rd, 2024, where she was formally charged with the following crime:
- Theft Less than $1500 and Victim is Older than 62 Years of Age (Felony)
Therres was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and has been released on her own recognizance.
