As Delawareans prepare to elect a new governor this fall, the Democratic Primary has dominated discussion, advertising and political mailers. The race has been especially tight between Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long and New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer, who both say they are the candidate uniquely positioned to benefit Sussex County.
Meyer's victory comes after an ugly primary, where he and Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long both accused the other of mudslinging and unscrupulous attacks.
