LEWES, Del. — More than 1,100 Delmarva Power customers are without electricity near the Vineyards community off Route 9.
According to Delmarva Power's outage map, 1,135 customers were affected across two outages.
CoastTV crews saw utility workers repairing power lines along Route 9 Monday night as crews worked to restore service. Delmarva Power estimates electricity will be restored by 1 a.m. Tuesday. The utility said the restoration time is a conservative estimate for the outages grouped in the area.
The cause of the outage has not been released.
