Gov. Carney calls for emergency dune repairs
The North Inlet Bay Area parking lot will be closed on Aug. 21 and Aug. 22 due to ongoing dune repairs.
There will be increased truck and heavy equipment in the area, so the Delaware Seashore State Park says visitors should exercise caution.Â
The closures come after the Indian River Inlet flooding Aug. 18, which shut down the north and south lanes of Route 1.Â
